This
year’s theme will be: “Essentials of Emergency Management”.
Keep

As in
previous years, Wisconsin Emergency Management will offer
pre-conference
training on October 15 and 16; and the All-Directors Meeting will be
held on October 18.

"Think Tank" Conference Calls |
|
 On
January 28 FEMA held the first in a series of “Think Tank”
conference calls. The calls will focus on important topics
pertaining to Emergency Management and preparedness, over 650
callers were dialed in. The call was hosted at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Shown in the picture are (L to R) Richard
Serino, Deputy Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management
Agency, Mark Owen WEMA President, Joe Meagher WEMA Vice President
and Andrew Velasquez III is administrator. Picture was taken after

Certified Emergency Manager Program |

WEMA
wishes to congratulate all of those who have taken steps towards
professional growth and development in Emergency Management.
Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM)
has compiled a list of
the 87 people who have successfully completed the Wisconsin
Certified Emergency Manager Program between 1997 and 2011.
