EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATIONS

The Wisconsin Emergency Management Association (WEMA) is an association of people and businesses that are interested in promoting effective emergency management planning, training and exercise programs throughout the State of Wisconsin.  The purpose of the Wisconsin Emergency Management Association is to advocate, promote and represent statewide emergency management interests in order to enhance the safety and security of all citizens.

 

Just as Wisconsin has an association, many other states do as well.  To help effectively promote emergency management as a whole, and foster relationships across the country, we encourage you to visit the sites below to see how other associations are achieving this common goal (Note that these are links to statewide or other EM associations, independent of a state-run emergency management agency.
